QUERY: I am looking for information pertaining to the Reynolds family found in Pickens County, Fayette County and nearby areas of Alabama in 1830-1850s.
My great great grandfather, William Threet Poe (1817-1884) married Sarah Reynolds (1819-1861). They married in Alabama, either Fayette or Pickens County. Member of this Reynolds family moved with the Poe and others (especially Holiman) from Alabama to Saline County, Arkansas (now Grant County), in 1852. My great grandmother was Sarah Holiman. There were Holiman - Reynolds marriages also. Any clue to the parents of Sarah and Miriam would be appreciated.

QUERY: I'm looking for any information or connections to Lt. Peter Reynolds and his wife Lucy, who lived in Sudbury, Vermont. Peter arrived there around 1780 and was justice of the peace in Sudbury for many years. He had three daughter that I could find, Hannah, Polly and Sophia, my gggggrandmother. Daughter Hannah married a Rev. Samuel Howe but died tragically young. Polly died age 15. Sophia married Capt. Reuben Webb, had several children and died age 38. Someone may have these folks in their line. I would like to hear from anyone who can connect or may have some thoughts to share. Thanks.

BLACKSBURG--- Mike Reynolds, 53, of 324 Cherokee Falls Road, died Sunday, October 9, 2005 at his residence.
A native of Gaffney, he is survived by his wife Harriet Turner Reynolds of the home, and the son of Modenia Moss Reynolds, also of the home, and the late Charles James Reynolds Sr. He was of the Baptist Faith and served the Lord Faithfully and also was a strong witness for Him. He was a veteran of Korean War.
Surviving are his son, Bo Reynolds of the home; three daughters, Everly and husband, Reed Hurley, of Hamlet, NC, Shay and husband, Todd Harris, of Boiling Springs, SC, and Susan Reynolds of the home; his brother, Charles Reynolds of Blacksburg; his two sisters, Sandra McDaniel of Blacksburg, and Brenda Fowler of Gaffney, and his grandchildren, Nick and Alex Hurley of Hamlet, Cody Smith and Todd Harris of Boiling Springs, SC, and Sidney Stanford and Grayson Hurley of Hamlet, NC.
The graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday October 11, 2005 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Delos Blanton.
Pallbearers are Freddie Dover, Eddie Leopard, Gary (Red) Moss, Dennis (Coon) Hardin, Gayland Garner, and Scott Palmer.
The family is at 324 Cherokee Falls Road in Blacksburg.

My brother is registered with the Reynolds family DNA study. I recommend the study. My family story was that the family came from Ct near the RI border and I am hoping for evidence of location as well as the parents or siblings of Jesse Leavenworth Reynolds.
